Master the core principles of myofascial release and transform the way you treat postural dysfunction and pain.

This hands-on course introduces the foundational techniques and philosophy of Core Body Therapy, equipping you with the skills to effectively address Forward Head Posture, Anterior Pelvic Tilt, and Lower Back Pain. These conditions are among the most common musculoskeletal issues seen in clinical practice, leading to chronic pain, tension, and movement restrictions.

By integrating these advanced myofascial techniques into your practice, you’ll not only improve client outcomes but also enhance your efficiency as a practitioner—minimizing fatigue while maximising impact.

Key Conditions Covered in This Course

Forward Head Posture (FHP)

A modern epidemic, Forward Head Posture is often caused by prolonged screen time, poor posture, and muscular imbalances. It places excessive strain on the neck, shoulders, and upper back, contributing to headaches, restricted movement, and chronic tension.

✅ Learn to assess and identify FHP in clients
✅ Release fascial restrictions contributing to forward head positioning
✅ Restore balance to the neck, shoulder girdle, and upper thoracic region

Anterior Pelvic Tilt (APT)

Anterior Pelvic Tilt is a postural imbalance where the pelvis tilts forward, exaggerating the curve of the lower back. It is commonly associated with tight hip flexors, weak glutes, and lower back discomfort. Left untreated, APT can lead to chronic pain, movement limitations, and postural compensation patterns affecting the entire body.

✅ Identify APT through postural and movement assessments
✅ Apply myofascial release techniques to hip flexors, lumbar spine, and pelvis
✅ Restore functional pelvic alignment and improve mobility

Lower Back Pain & Hyperlordosis

Lower Back Pain affects millions worldwide, often stemming from hyperlordosis (excessive lower back curvature), muscle imbalances, and fascial restrictions. Chronic pain in this region can impair daily movement, reduce quality of life, and contribute to compensatory issues in the hips, pelvis, and thoracic spine.

✅ Learn to assess and treat hyperlordosis and lower back dysfunction
✅ Release key myofascial restrictions affecting the lumbar spine and pelvis
✅ Improve structural balance and pain-free movement for clients

Course Outcomes

Upon completion of this course the participant will have learned:

Day 1 – The Shoulder Girdle & Neck
  • Understanding the fascial system and its role in posture and movement
  • Palpation skills to detect fascial restrictions
  • Targeted myofascial release for Forward Head Posture
  • Techniques to release tension in the neck and shoulder girdle
Day 2 – Pelvis & Lower Back
  • Postural assessment for Anterior Pelvic Tilt & Hyperlordosis
  • Myofascial techniques to release the lower back and hip flexors
  • Restoring pelvic alignment for long-term relief
  • Enhancing practitioner efficiency for sustained performance

By the end of this course, you’ll have a comprehensive understanding of how to assess, treat, and restore balance to key postural dysfunctions, making a lasting impact on your clients’ health and mobility.
